Turquoise Net Nuno Scarf

Being very inspired by Leiko works I started a large scarf in that technique. It's going very slowly because of it's size, I want to make full scale wrap! It will definetely take a while. So I decided to show a different scarf which I finished couple weeks ago but had no time to make pictures of it:



I have two pieces of gorgeous hand-dyed silk in blue/turquoise/purple colours and wanted to put them together in a net scarf. Some fragments of silk are nuno-felted and some are loose. I like overall effect but need to work on technique more...

Scarf "Lavender Mist"

You might think that I am doing nothing and neglected felting completely! It's not true I am working hard really! At first I set up an Etsy Shop and even got 3 (three!) sales last week!

Now I would like to show one of my latest scarves. I've named it a Lavender Mist because there is such a fine blend of lovely and delicate colours - pink, lilac, lavender and it creates true misty effect. It's not bold but very soft and feminine...



I also add a few silk pieces of silk in the same colours to create some texture.

Blue, green, yellow, turquoise...

There was a nice silk scarf of mixed colours and rather small. I've added six different colours of merino wool and decorative fibres and made a large (175cm x 25 cm) nuno-scarf!
